About my Practice
I aim to help you explore your concerns, feelings, worldview, habits, behaviour and thoughts. Through doing this, eventually you will realise your own abilities and independence to cope better with your present concerns, and those that might arise in the future.
The goal for my counselling is that you are more able to identify emotional and thought patterns that can lead to psychological distress, to be more able to challenge your inner-critic, or to be comfortable verbalising your experiences to other people close to you. I encourage you to try new healthy habits, new routines, and new methods to help you with sleep problems, and grounding techniques. I know I have done my job well when you feel more sure of being able to cope when things go wrong, and when you have found what works for you.
